SDL 125-0SD LAx 50 S | Z85

Sound-insulated fresh air inlet as a passive supply air unit for external walls and partition walls. As free ventilation for humidity control in residential and commercial buildings. The ventilators are also designed for integration into ventilation concepts in accordance with DIN 1946-6 as well as in conjunction with individual or centralised extract air systems in accordance with DIN 18017-3 for permanent, room-spanning fresh air supply.

AIR CONTROL equipped with SD sound insulation elements

General information

The SD series of the AIR CONTROL family is characterised by maximum flexibility when it comes to retrofitting sound insulation. The pipe segment can be retrofitted with additional sound insulation elements. This allows the sound insulation against external noise to be easily adapted to increasing requirements.

To solve project-related tasks, you have an almost infinite number of different installation options at your disposal, allowing you to create almost any required geometry. This series is also ideally suited as a component of hybrid concepts that combine passive and active sound insulation ventilation.

IQ DESIGN Cover

Optional, room-side IQ DESIGN cover, rectangular, made of impact-resistant ABS plastic, for surface or flush-mounted installation, can be plugged in or screwed without tools, can be regulated in 3 stages and can be sealed sufficiently tightly in accordance with EnEV. With adjustable air flow and very small dimensions (from 145 x 145 mm). A filter of filter class G3 / ISO Coarse 45 is integrated into the cover at the factory.

Centering Elements

The red centering elements made of PP plastic make it easier to align the fan tube in the wall hole (even annular gap) and are also used to fasten the screws for the IQ DESIGN cover.
We recommend 8 pieces/fan. We offer the VLE centering elements as accessories. They are fitted at the factory. Subsequent, tool-free installation on site is possible.

Facade cover

Facade cover for the flat duct (LAL version) for seamless integration into the overall architectural appearance of the external facade. The system-compliant quick fastening to the flat channel cover is carried out using stainless steel screws. We offer the cover as standard in the colours natural and white. We can paint the Facade cover in the colour of your choice (RAL or NCS colour palette) on a project-specific basis and for optimum integration into the architectural design.

AIR CONTROL SD 125 series in LAL version

Almost all components of this innovative sound-insulating ventilator series are invisibly integrated within the external wall. Thanks to the modular elements, various installation variants and dimensional configurations are available to you and are prefabricated at the factory to the desired project -specific dimensions.

Construction model of the SDL 125-0 SD LAx 50 S

AIR CONTROL sound-insulating ventilators are pre-assembled at the factory according to the project-specific nominal dimensions and can therefore be installed quickly and easily without any further preparation. The extensive range of accessories for the sound-insulating ventilators is tailored to a wide variety of application conditions and also takes into account subsequent modification requests, which can be carried out largely without tools!

The sound-insulating ventilator can be closed on the inside and the air volume flow can be mechanically adjusted between 0-100%. The ventilation unit is freely accessible for inspection and cleaning purposes thanks to the removable cover. All fan components are made of air-hygienic, fibre-free components; external grilles/panels and fastenings are made of aluminium, stainless steel or plastic and are designed for permanent exposure to the weather.

LAL concealed within the reveal

The AIR CONTROL reveal ventilator is concealed within the window or door reveal. This is also an ideal solution for floor-to-ceiling windows. The sound-insulating ventilator is initially guided through the wall close to the window. A transition bend connects the round segment with the flat duct. This is routed through the ETICS (external thermal insulation composite system) up to the reveal.

The integrated weather protection function is ensured by the LAL system in conjunction with a system-compliant facade cover (e.g. FA-LAx 37).
On the room side, the external wall ventilator ends with an adjustable internal cover, optionally in a round or square design.

LAF6 in the window sill

The AIR CONTROL sill ventilation system is installed in the centre of the window sill; the air duct is concealed below the window sill.
The sound-insulating ventilator runs straight through the wall and can be installed horizontally within the ETICS (external thermal insulation composite system). The air plenum box is flush plastered directly below the window sill. The air is channelled from the front.

The weather protection function is performed by the outer window sill. On the room side, the ventilator ends with a flush-mounted adjustable internal cover, according to customer requirements.

This installation design is the most inconspicuous with regard to visual disturbances in the external facade. It is also recommended for renovations and in rooms with small windows.

LAS in the lintel area

The AIR CONTROL lintel ventilation system is installed concealed in the lintel area of windows or balcony doors.
The sound-insulating ventilation system goes straight through the wall above the window or door and is integrated into the ETICS (external thermal insulation composite system) with the LAS flat duct system flush with the lintel.
The weather protection function is guaranteed by the LAS system.

On the room side, the ventilator closes flush with an adjustable internal cover, according to customer requirements.

LAL V50 concealed within the insulation layer with oblique downward warping

With the reveal version V50, the flat channel is warped downwards at an angle within the insulation layer. This reduces the axial dimensions by up to 50% compared to the horizontal LAL version. This installation solution is ideal if a high level of sound insulation is to be realised for large front windows and narrow wall areas next to windows/doors. The closure is flush-mounted with the reveal.
