Sound-insulated fresh air inlet (ALD) as a passive air supply unit for external walls and partition walls. As natural ventilation for humidity control in residential and commercial buildings. The ventilators are designed for integration into ventilation concepts in accordance with DIN 1946-6 as well as in conjunction with individual or central extract air systems in accordance with DIN 18017-3 for permanent, room-spanning fresh air supply.

1.5 SR sound absorbing elements

General information

The SMART series of the AIR CONTROL family is characterised by the highest air flow rate with a maximum sound insulation value of up to 75 dB Dn,e,w. With the use of SR sound insulation elements and the reveal installation with patented air duct, it offers an excellent price/performance ratio.

More than 10 different installation options are available to solve project-related tasks. The modular, expandable product structure is particularly suitable for highly sophisticated architectural solutions.

DESIGN Cover IQ 125

Optional, room-side IQ DESIGN cover, rectangular, made of impact-resistant ABS plastic, for surface or flush-mounted installation, can be plugged in or screwed on without tools, can be regulated in 3 stages and can be sealed sufficiently tightly in accordance with EnEV. A filter of filter class G3 / ISO Coarse 45 is integrated into the cover at the factory.

Centering Elements

The red centering elements made of PP plastic make it easier to align the fan tube in the wall hole (even annular gap) and also serve as a screw fastening for the IQ DESIGN inner panel.
We recommend 8 pieces/fan. We offer the VLE centering elements as accessories. They are fitted at the factory. Subsequent, tool-free installation on site is possible. The recess on the ring segment is used to accommodate the centering elements.

Flat Channel

Shown in the LAL version. With a nominal fan length of 280 mm, the LAL 30 mounting type has an axial dimension of approx. 235 mm and can therefore be conveniently positioned close to the window.

Facade cover

Facade cover for the flat duct (LAL version) for seamless integration into the overall architectural appearance of the external facade. The system-compliant quick fastening to the flat channel cover is carried out using stainless steel screws. We offer the cover as standard in the colours natural and white. We can paint the Facade cover in the colour of your choice (RAL or NCS colour palette) on a project-specific basis and for optimum integration into the architectural design.

AIR CONTROL series in LAx version

Almost all components of this innovative sound-insulating ventilation series are invisibly integrated within the external wall. Thanks to the modular elements, various installation variants and dimensional configurations are available to you and are already prefabricated at the factory to the desired object dimensions.

Construction model
SMART SDL 125-1,5SR 30 LAx 30S

AIR CONTROL sound-insulating ventilation units are pre-assembled at the factory according to the project-specific nominal dimensions and can therefore be installed quickly and easily without any further preparation. The extensive range of sound-insulating ventilation accessories is tailored to a wide variety of application scenarios and also takes into account subsequent modification requests, which can be carried out largely without tools.

The sound-insulating ventilation can be closed on the inside and the air volume flow can be mechanically adjusted between 0-100%. The ventilation unit is freely accessible for inspection and cleaning purposes thanks to the removable cover. All fan components are made of air-hygienic, fibre-free components; external grilles/panels and fastenings are made of aluminium, stainless steel or plastic and are designed for permanent exposure to the weather.

LAL concealed within the reveal

The AIR CONTROL reveal ventilator is concealed within the window or door reveal. This is also an ideal solution for floor-to-ceiling windows! The sound-insulating ventilation is routed straight through the wall and is reduced within the ETICS (external thermal insulation composite system) to the LAL flat duct system with a flush-mounted reveal.

The LAL installation type enables particularly high sound insulation values to be realised. The weather protection function is guaranteed by the LAL system. On the room side, the external wall ventilator closes with an adjustable interior cover, optionally in a round or square design.

LAF6 in the sill

The AIR CONTROL sill ventilation is installed in the centre of the sill; the air duct is concealed below the window ledge. The sound-insulating ventilation runs straight through the wall and can be installed horizontally within the full thermal insulation. The air plenum box is plastered flush directly below the window ledge. The air is channelled from the front. The LAF6 installation type enables particularly high sound insulation values to be realised!
Weather protection is provided by the outer window ledge.
On the room side, the ventilator closes flush with an adjustable interior cover, according to customer requirements.

LAF3 VO concealed under the window ledge
with vertical upward projection, angled

The LAF3 VO installation version was designed for placement “free in the area of the sill”. The system enables air intake “concealed underneath the window ledge” via the outer flat duct – with upward distortion. The sound-insulating ventilation runs straight through the wall and can be warped within the ETICS.

On the room side, the ventilator closes flush with an adjustable interior cover according to customer requirements. The finish under the window ledge is provided by a system-compliant finish according to customer requirements.

LAL V30 concealed within the insulation layer with oblique downward warping

With the reveal version V30, the flat channel is warped downwards at an angle within the insulation layer. This reduces the axial dimensions by up to 30% compared to the horizontal LAL design. This installation solution is ideal if a high level of sound insulation is to be realised for large front windows and narrow wall areas next to windows/doors. The closure is flush with the reveal.
