VX-2K 60dB (R,ST,w)

Fast-curing, two-component, polyurethane-based sound-insulating installation foam for the mechanical fixing of airborne sound-insulated wall penetrations with a weighted joint sound reduction index of 60 dB (R ST,w) for fast, non-pressurised application.

The product does not contain any substances that deplete the ozone layer and fulfils the legal requirements of the EU regulation on certain greenhouse gases. Curing takes place simultaneously and uniformly throughout the entire amount of foam applied by chemical reaction and is adapted to normal building moisture; the thermal and sound insulation values as well as the physical building properties are excellent. For diffusion-tight sealing on the room side, we recommend our VX-FK assembly sealant.
